Park car and WRITE DOWN Parking Stall Number. 2. Go into Diridon Station and purchase All Day Parking Ticket at RED vending machine. Input your Parking Stall Number. The cost is $5.50 for all day. (NOTE: DO NOT place parking Ticket Receipt in your car. YOU KEEP IT.) 3. Purchase your Senior Day Pass TRAIN TICKET ($9.50) at the same RED vending machine. The ELFUN board has approved a limited number of tickets again for this season so let’s play ball.

These are Bowl Reserve Seats and can be upgraded at the box office the
day of the game at the park.

ELFUN TRIP June 9th 2023– SAN JOSE WATER PURIFICATION PLANT [PAST EVENT]

The Elfuns organized a very interesting and informative guided tour of the San Jose Water Purification Plant on Friday June 9th. The plant is located on 4190 Zanker Rd, San Jose, CA 95134. The tour started at 10:00 AM . The tour lasted about 1 hour and involved no significant walking. In the tour you saw the complete water purification process to get pure drinking water for all of Santa Clara valley. The plan also included to either have a nice picnic lunch after the tour, or to go to a local restaurant for lunch. The cost was expected to be about $15 per person.

Recent Events
- Saturday March 25th 2023, the Great Elfun Shred-Out was back after a 3 year pandemic delay. We had almost 40 participants!
- Wednesday March 22nd 2023, our Elfun Annual Meeting and luncheon took place. This was our annual Elfun meeting, where you are able to meet the Board Members, vote on our slate of officers, and learn of events that are being planned for 2023.
- Wednesday February 22: Luncheon presentation by the Stroke Awareness Foundation
- December 11th 2022, the Santa Clara Chorale “String Up the Lights” Holiday musical entertainment event was enjoyed by many Elfuns.
- October 12th 2022, a Zoom presentation on the Columbia Space Shuttle explosion by Engineer Jeff Hern in Wilmington was very in-depth and quite interesting!
- September 5th 2022, a Bocce Ball event was held. All who attended had fun.
- August 24th 2022, a luncheon talk on the American obsession with car collecting was given by Jim Boyden, and he described his lifetime of restoring and owning antique cars and horseless carriages. This time our zoom transmission failed due to my ineptness.
